The development of indoor and outdoor
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plans by schools, daycares,
and school age childcare programs* has been a requirement
in Massachusetts since 2000. All plans must be submitted to
the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
Note: For presentation purposes, daycares and school age childcare
programs are classified under the heading 'Daycare Programs.'

To determine if your school or daycare
center of interest is in compliance with the law, search by
town or school name under the "Locate a Plan" feature
of the Department's School IPM website.
Parents are encouraged to check the IPM-Plan compliance status of their child's school or daycare program. IPM-Plan compliance can be verified by clicking the locate a plan link in the upper left hand margin of this page.
