Recent News

Upcoming Events and Volunteer Opportunities:

  • New Hampshire Cooperative Extension is running an Asian longhorned beetle "Train the Trainer" session this Wednesday, 1/13 in Nashua.
  • Now that the leaves are off the trees, this is the perfect time of year to check trees for signs of ALB damage.
  • Learn to survey for ALB and ALB tree damage with the Greater Worcester Land Trust. Volunteer crews go out most Thursdays at 12pm. Email anne AT gwlt.org for more details and to RSVP.
  • Mass. Dept. of Agricultural Resources staff will be attending the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association, to speak about ALB and distribute ALB outreach materials for sugarhouses and maple syrup retailers to hand out to the public.

Past Events:

  • MDAR staff recently conducted outreach at the Winter Farmers' Market in Northampton.
