The Boston Public Health Commission
has released a report
which profiles environmental and public safety issues in all
Boston Public Schools. The report also shows if schools in
Boston are in compliance with the states IPM law requiring
submission of IPM plans to the Department of Agricultural
Resources. The report does state that IPM plans are submitted
to the Department of Agricultural Resources for review and
approval. While Department staff review many of the IPM plans
which are submitted, the Department does not issue approvals.
Since the report was generated many schools that are listed
as out of compliance have submitted their IPM plans. Click
Locate
a Plan to check your school to see if your school has
submitted a plan since the assessment was conducted.
