Recent News
- Volunteers wanted! Boston ALB tree survey this Wednesday, June 23, at 3pm, sponsored by Friends of the Public Garden and the Mass. Dept. of Agricultural Resources.
- Massachusetts has selected the cities of Fitchburg and Leominster and also the city of New Bedford as the focus for ALB outreach over the next year. Look for training session signups soon!
- Asian longhorned beetle emergence in Massachusetts is still a couple of weeks away. Meanwhile, whitespotted sawyers and other longhorns like Graphisurus are active. Download your ALB look-alikes sheet and learn them all!
- A smartphone app originally designed to allow the public to photograph and geolocate potential Asian longhorned beetle sightings is now being used to report oil-covered animals impacted by the Gulf Coast oil spill. (Daily Hampshire Gazette)
